Yesterday was another stellar day of peach distillation. We got a little help from mother nature in the form of a little rain to cool things down. That helped the stills run cooler and the run seemed a touch richer yesterday. We are past the midway point of the first run; then comes the fun part, the doubling run. We will have several hundred gallons to rerun through the pot that will make, from what I am seeing, some of the best peach brandy ever made. I bet ole George himself would be pleased at the hard work of everybody here.
